Obituary

Pamela Jean Daley, 51, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 17, 2020. She was born January 25, 1969 in Rochester, NY. After Pam lost her mother, Nola Carucci at an early age, her grandparents, Rose and Angelo Carucci of Winchester MA played an important part in raising her, along with Pam's aunts and uncles on both sides of her family. Pam cherished her brothers, Rich and David and sister Mara and would come to cherish their spouses and her nieces and nephews. Pam initially attended Newburyport schools, ultimately graduating with high honors from Methuen High School. During these school years she made lifelong friends such as Dawn Kelsey, Karen Roberts Zundell many others and, later, Lisa Holmes. Pursuing an early interest in local news and politics, Pam also served as the student journalist for the Lawrence Eagle Tribune during her high school years.

Pam married James Daley from NH in 1989 and soon after began to raise her son, JJ and then daughter Nola.

Pam completed her undergraduate studies at Fitchburg State College and would work for the Mass Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Later, Pam attended Tufts University where she received her master’s degree and her certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology. As a school psychologist for 23 years, Pamela continued her lifelong devotion to the health and safety of children.

Pam was also loved by many other family members, including her aunts and uncles: Claire Donovan, Jan Crafts, Judy Bees, Alan and Jack Carucci, Debbie Jones, Bonnie Winston, along with the spouses of her aunts and uncles and their many children. Pam's father in law James Daley Sr. and mother in law Lois Dodge loved her as if she were their own daughter. Pam grew very close with her husbands family, starting with her brother in law Brendan and soon after his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and their children.

All of these people and many more loved Pam dearly and will keep her memory alive in their hearts.
