Mable (Donaldson) Williams Burk, 95, of Yorktown, died at Yorktown Manor May 18, 2020 from complications from Alzheimer's disease.
She was born August 21, 1924 in Fox Springs, Tennessee, the daughter of James and Anna (Chilton) Donaldson.
She worked production at Guide Lamp division of General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1985. She was a 50 year member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ.
She was a member of American Business Women, Order of the Eastern Star and Guide Lamp Travel Group. She volunteered at Community Hospital.
Mable is survived by her three daughters, JoAnn (Bill) Salyers, Bette Stanley and Janet Blackburn all of Anderson; two siblings, Leon (Margaret) Donaldson of Knoxville, TN; Alfred Donaldson of Streetsboro, OH; six grandchildren, Brad (April) Salyers, Michael (Jeanie) Salyers, Kellie (Kirk) Danforth, Jamey (Nancy) Stanley, Scott (Amanda) Blackburn, Joy (Matt) Callison, ten great-grandchildren, Dylan (Brittany) Salyers, Olivia, Jack, Luke Salyers, Katey (Aric) Rivera, Clay and Kylah Stout, Rhys, Emme and Jace Blackburn; two great-great-grandchildren, Ripley and Holden Salyers; two step-children, Bob (Marcia) Burk and Ann (Jeff) McQuade; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Joe L. Williams and Lloyd Burk; brothers, Eddie, John and Charles Donaldson; step-brother, Berea Donaldson, sisters, Kathleen Terry and Jean Williams; son-in-law, John Blackburn and a granddaughter, Angela Salyers.
Private graveside services will be held. Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Meadowbrook Church of Christ.
