CHICOPEE - Louise Yvonne Madeleine (Dulude) Daviau passed away on May 18th with the love of her family surrounding her. Louise was born on March 1, 1932 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Ralph and Madeleine (Bronner) Dulude. She was raised in Holyoke and lived in South Hadley and Westfield for many years before moving to Chicopee in 2015. She married the love of her life George in 1951 and they went on to raise four children. Louise was a dedicated wife to George. Her greatest love was being together with him, dancing, traveling, and spending their winters in Florida. They enjoyed entertaining family and friends, having parties and playing cards. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who loved to bake for her family and her legendary apple pie recipe will be carried on for generations. There was always music in the house and she enjoyed playing the piano. The family made precious memories camping and spending quality time together. Louise had a vibrant personality. She always had something witty to say. She stayed positive even in her struggles and tried to go with the flow. Everyone who met her loved her. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family, including her children, Michelle Daniele (Tom), Denise Daviau (Steven) with whom she lived, Louis Daviau (Patricia) and Diane Mercier (Armand); her cherished grandchildren, Sherrie (Ludwig), Douglas, Julie (Aaron), Jennifer (Ryan), Nicole, Nicholas, Michael and Amy (George); her cherished great-grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, George, Jeffrey, Anna, Deveraux, Sterling and Sullivan; her dear brothers, Robert and James as well as her cousins, nieces, and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her husband, George in June, 2003, and her brothers, Roland, Armand, and Donald Dulude. Her Funeral Services are private and her Burial will be private at Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
