Susan L. M. Davis died Sunday from COVID-19 and complications from a wreck in March. She was 76.
She leaves behind a brother, Lewis P. (Buddy) Morgan of Pahrump, NV; son Ben Baker of Ashburn, son Bryan (Shag) Baker of Ellenton, grandchildren Jesse, Susan and Jake.
She was known to many as Ma. She helped raise plenty of children on the east side of Colquitt County. In later years, down in Tallahassee, she worked with the Court Appointed Special Advocate program. She loved children.
Per her wishes, no funeral service is planned. Instead, we shall have a wake. A wake is being planned on Little River in Colquitt County. The beer will be ice cold, the food will be awesome and the celebration shall be joyous. If you'd like to attend, please let one of her sons know.
If you wish to remember her, plant a flower at your house or donate to the charity of your choice. She supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Court Appointed Special Advocate program, St. Jude's Hospitals for Children and pretty much anything to do with children. If you have no favorite charity, a donation to Shepherd's Pantry food bank in Ashburn is appreciated. Contact Ben for more information.
The family thanks everyone for their thoughts, prayers and words.
