Francisco Chingo Gomez, 55, of New Bedford, Massachusetts died May 16, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Zacualpa, Quiche, Guatemala, son of Santos Chingo and the late Marcella Morente, he lived in Guatemala before moving to New Bedford in 2015.
He was employed as a fish cutter at Marina Fish House.
Survivors include his partner, Dominga Garcia Gomez; 5 sons, Santos Chingo Garcia, Ciriaco Chingo Garcia, Jose Chingo Garcia, Francisco Chingo Garcia and Juan Carlos Chingo Garcia; 2 daughters, Santos Chingo Garcia and Marcella Chingo Garcia; 4 brothers, Manuel Chingo Gomez, Santos Chingo Gomez, Vincente Chingo Gomez and Pedro Chingo Gomez; 3 sisters, Gregoria Chingo Gomez, Cecelia Chingo Gomez and Dominga Chingo Gomez; many greanchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, his services and burial will be private for immediate family. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
