Nora H. Treadup, 90, of New Bedford died Thursday July 11, 2002 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the daughter of the late Elmore M. and Mary (Kenny) Treadup.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, she was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church, where she was a faithful member of the Guard of Honor Society.
Miss Treadup was formerly employed as the head auditor at New Bedford Institution for Savings until her retirement.
She was a graduate of Holy Family High School. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe.
Survivors include a niece, Marylou Rossi of Fairhaven; 5 nephews, Matthew J. Treadup of San Diego, CA, Martin E. Treadup, J. Mark Treadup, and David DeTerra, all of New Bedford, and Kevin DeTerra of Dartmouth; a brother-in-law, Francis DeTerra of New Bedford; and great-nieces and great-nephews.She was the sister of the late John Treadup and Ermine DeTerra.
