FALL RIVER - Lillian Vieira, age 80, of Fall River, passed away on May 15, 2020 at Morton Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Lillian (Duchaine) Medeiros. Prior to retirement, she worked as a nurse’s aide at Kimwell Nursing Home and was a machine operator at Fall River Knitting Mills and Shelburne Shirt. Lillian enjoyed cooking, gardening and going to lunch with friends. Most of all she adored her children and grandchildren and loved talking to and spending time with them.
Lillian is survived by her children Ronald Vieira Jr. and his wife Karen of Tiverton, RI, Mark Vieira and his wife Jean of Bristol, RI, Michael Vieira and his wife Amber of Fall River and Melissa Vieira of Coventry RI; grandchildren Amanda Grace, Benjamin, Jake and Harrison Vieira, Ryan Volton, Noel and Stefani Ledoux; 9 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of Francis (Butch) Medeiros of Fall River, Gary Medeiros of Fall River, Lee Medeiros of Fate TX and Maureen Affonso of Sierra Vista AZ, and the late Joyce Sarro and Diane Walters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were held under the direction of Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720.
