FALL RIVER… Deborah A. (LePage) Abelha, 55, of Fall River passed away May 14, 2020 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Deborah is survived by her parents, Louis and Catherine LePage; son, Jason Abelha; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffini Abelha and Darin McDonald; daughter, Faith Mello; her siblings, Michael LePage and wife Laura; Barbara Baker and husband David; and Brian LePage; and several nieces and nephews.
Deborah was born in Fall River, MA, where she lived most of her life. She attended and graduated from Boston School for the Deaf and then went on to graduate from Taunton High School in 1984. After high school, she received her cosmetology license in 1988. She worked in cosmetology for a short time and then started a career as a Mental Health worker in 1996. She worked at Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital from 1996-2020.
Deborah was a proud member of the ASL community and enjoyed helping others with sign language. Some of her hobbies included crossword puzzles, word searches, watching movies and shopping. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her three children.
Deborah was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church in Fall River.
