Bobbie Lynn Burton Griffin, 90, of Irwinville, Georgia, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at her daughter’s residence in Leesburg, Georgia.
Private graveside services will be held.
Mrs. Griffin was born April 8, 1930, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Caryl LaRue Burton & Ina Mae Anderson Burton. She lived in the Irwinville community most of her life and was a great cook and she enjoyed gardening, especially growing sweet potatoes. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Irwinville Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Harris & Danny of Leesburg and a son, Billy Griffin & Susan of Albany; three grandchildren: Leann Sumner & Steve, Kim Griffin and Dana Tucker & Mike; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Leonet Bostick of Lakeland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William (Bill) Howell Griffin, Sr.
