John M. Coughlin, Jr., 79, of Worcester died Monday, May 11th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus due to complications of COVID-19. He leaves a sister, Nancy Walsh and her husband, Bernard of Parkland, FL; two brothers, Thomas Coughlin and his wife, Kathryn of Sugarland, TX and Robert Coughlin of Osterville. He also leaves eight nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Susan Coughlin.
He was born in Washington, D.C. the son of John M. Coughlin, Sr. and Rita (Lonergan) Coughlin. John was a graduate of St. John’s High School and the College of the Holy Cross. He worked as an accountant for a brief prior before becoming ill.
