Wayne “Yogi” Mixon, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Private services will be held.
Mr. Mixon was born August 11, 1942, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Curtis & Elma Tucker Mixon. He worked in the construction business with Shep Dunn Construction, Roanoke Construction, Paulk Manufacturing and Harvey’s Supermarket. He was a craftsman and a man with many hobbies.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Mixon of Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dean S. Mixon.
