Obituary

HOLYOKE – Bryan P. Loranger, 50, of Holyoke and a former longtime resident of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on December 11, 1969, a beloved son of Thomas P. Loranger and Sue A. (Allen) Loranger. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School in 1987 and lived in Chicopee for most of his life. He was employed for the last 27 years at Custom Car Sound in Springfield. He was a member of the Holyoke Turnverine and the Knights of Columbus Elder Council 69 in Chicopee. Bryan was a true lover of animals and had many faithful companions over the years. During his leisure time, Bryan enjoyed New England sports, fishing, bowling, golf, going to Lake Winnipesaukee, and the Florida Keys. He also enjoyed craft beers and was a member of the “Hop Headz”. Most of all, he loved his family and his many friends. Besides his parents, he leaves his cherished daughter, Kathryn G. Loranger; his former loving wife, Jennifer N. (Pollard) Loranger; his dear partner, Jackie Kleszczynski, his dear sister, Marcia Lapointe, his dear brother, Tommy Loranger and his partner, Ariel Gragnolati; his dear uncles, Kent Richards, Edgar Allen III and his partner, Judy, David Allen and his wife, Francine, Paul Loranger and his wife, Junia, and Gerry Loranger and his wife, Rhonda; his dear aunts, Sharon Loranger and Marie Loranger; and many nephews, nieces, numerous cousins and friends. In addition, he leaves a special “cuzin”, Edgar Allen IV who was like his brother. He was predeceased by his dear uncle, Jimmy Loranger and his dear aunt, Carol Richards. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
