Alicia A. (Fontes) Matos, 51, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on Thursday, May 7, 2020 following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was the wife of Paul A. Matos.
Mrs. Matos was born in Woburn, MA daughter of Patricia (Coffey) Fontes of Waltham, MA and the late Arthur Fontes. She grew up in Waltham and had been a longtime resident of Westport. She enjoyed walking her dogs anyplace outdoors and she loved the ocean. Mrs. Matos was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She enjoyed classical music and played it beautifully. She will be remembered as being a loving friend, daughter, sister, wife and mother who loved spending time with her family.
Survivors along with her husband and mother include her 3 children: Alexander Matos, Amanda Matos and Ava Matos, all of Westport; her 2 sisters: Patricia Page of Sterling, MA and Dianna Fontes of Waltham; mother-in-law: Celeste Domingues of Westport; brother-in-law: Luis Matos of Fall River; 3 sisters-in-law: Mena Atteberry of AZ; Elizabeth Matos of Boston and Kathleen Matos of VT; beloved dogs Naya and Stella and cat Leo; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
