FALL RIVER - Rita Doris (Berube) Correia, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur S. Correia. Born in Fall River she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Dube) Berube. Prior to retirement Rita worked at Sagamore Shirt for many years. She also worked for F.R. Knitting and as a lunch lady in Morton Middle School. Rita was an Auxiliary member of Southcoast Hospital Group.
Rita is survived by her children Nancy Lynch Kelly, Janice Cabral and Randy Correia, and brother Albert, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Alfred, George, Leo, Norman Berube, Janette Silvia, Alice Summers, Ruth Yvette Collard and Yvette Berube.
