Wilmina Lou (Harmon) Day, 90, of Anderson died May 11, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson, after a brief illness.
She was born July 7, 1929 in Anderson, the daughter of Grover B. and Catherine J. (Hillis) Harmon.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lake St. Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and taking care of her grandkids.
She is survived by her sister, Patsy Tooley of Anderson; daughter, Mona Cripe of Anderson; three sons, Thomas Day of Anderson ; Steven (Jana) Day of Anderson, James "Jim" Day of Anderson; grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Sterner, Joshua Day, Zachary (Amy) Day, Brandon Day, Emiley (William) Foster, Molly Day and Jacob Day; great-grandchildren, Ethan Gore, Noah Foster, Harper Sterner, Violet Foster, Max Day and Jack Day; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra L. Day; husband, Gerald L. Day, brother, William "Bud" Harmon; son-in-law, Randy C. Cripe; brother-in-law, Wayne Tooley; father, Grover B. Harmon and mother, Catherine J. (Hillis) Harmon.
Private funeral services will be held Thursday with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or March of Dimes.
