New Jersey - Filemena Corkum-Solimini, age 88, went into the Presence of the Lord On May 3rd 2020 at Salem Medical Center, Salem, NJ. She was born on December 30, 1931. Her parents were the late Frank Pacheco and Mary Silvia Pacheco. She was a lifetime resident of New Bedford, MA.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed tending to her many plants and flowers. She was an avid shopper, especially shopping clearance and coupons. She was outgoing, and loved to go dancing. Throughout her working years, she held jobs at Cornell Dubilier, Cove Discount Center, Stop and Shop and Shaw’s and sold Avon for many years.
She predeceased by her husband, Gerard A. Corkum and her sisters, Irene Carmody and Marjorie Days. She is survived by her four sons, Gerald Corkum and his wife, Diane, Wayne Corkum and his girlfriend, Paula, Brian Corkum and his wife, Paula, and Kevin Corkum and his wife, Mary Alice. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
