Sarah Osborne Singletary, 82, of Enigma, Georgia, died Friday, May 8, 2020, at her residence.
Private graveside services will be held. Pallbearers will be Wayne Brown, Javier Landeros, Lee Pippin, Brady Pippin, Eulogio Torres, and John Chambers.
Ms. Singletary was born February 11, 1938, in Jesup, Georgia, to the late H.M. & Mary Elizabeth Carroll Osborne. She was a homemaker and worked as a CNA for a healthcare agency. She loved to fish and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Ms. Singletary liked visiting yard sales and loved flowers.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Deborah Pippin & James of Enigma, Nina Osborne Paige & Phillip of Fitzgerald, Patricia Torres & Eulogio of Arcadia, Florida, Robert Dale Blackmon of Orlando, Florida, Herbert Monroe Smith of Orlando, Florida, and Melba Smith Brown & Wayne of Ashburn; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings: Ray Osborne & Nancy of Chatsworth, Ann Duren of Tifton, Dottie Randall of Nashville, Frank Osborne & Louise of Cave Springs, Bobby Osborne & Rhetta of Loganville, and Martha Howard & Paul of Chatsworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shirley Juanita Blackmon; a son, John Franklin Smith, Jr.; and siblings: Robert Osborne, Floyd Osborne, Herman Osborne, Mary Bell Peterson, and Jimmy Osborne.
