Lena (Covel) Emond, 86, of Dartmouth, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth as a result of the Covid-19 virus. She was the wife of the late Ronald O. Emond.
Mrs. Emond was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Henry C. and Lena (Grey) Covel, and had been a longtime resident of Dartmouth.
Survivors include her daughter: Darlene Shaw and her husband Allen of Dartmouth; her 2 brothers: Raymond Covel of Fall River and Ernest Covel of New York; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Diana Clingan and sister of the late Henry Covel, Thomas Covel, Robert Covel, Frank Covel, and Joseph Covel.
