Ruth E. Bonnevier, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home. She was 68 years of age.
Ruth was born on June 21, 1951, a daughter of the late John F. Bonnevier and Alice E. (Galvin) Bonnevier. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1969. Ruth worked for several years as a Secretary at Northeastern University before she became a Legal Secretary for a law firm in Boston where she worked for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Ireland and England and enjoyed her many cats throughout her life. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Charlestown.
Ruth is the beloved daughter of the late John F. Bonnevier and Alice E. (Galvin) Bonnevier. She is the devoted sister of the late Alice E. Hurley and her surviving husband Arthur and the late Grace Yetter, Joseph Bonnevier and Arthur Bonnevier. She is also survived by her loving niece and nephews.
