Dorothy R. (Baccelli) Borisoff, 93, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Nemasket Healthcare in Middleboro. She was the wife of the late Edmund T. Borisoff.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John and Attilia (Giorgi) Baccelli, she and her family lived in Italy for 12 years before returning to New Bedford in 1946.
Mrs. Borisoff was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She is survived by her son, John T. Borisoff and his wife, Mary Carol of Berkley; her sister, Eva DiBenedetto of New Bedford; her grandson, Mason Thomas Borisoff; and a few nieces and nephews.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, a private family burial service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church at a later date. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
