Carole J. (Dillon) Orlando 96, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Walpole Healthcare, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Orlando, who died in 2004.
Born September 10, 1923, in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late John and Helen Dillon, she was a longtime Franklin resident.
Carole was raised and educated in Providence and formerly worked for the Red Bird Farm in Wrentham.
Her greatest joy was raising her family and will be remembered for being a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and godmother. Her family always came first. She will be sorely missed.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Linda F. Feeley and her husband John of Franklin, her grandchildren, Kevin Feeley, Daniel Feeley, Karen Michaud, Jason Orlando, Carole Orlando and Mary Boulanger. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Daniel G. Orlando.
Due to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and restrictions on public gatherings, a graveside service followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin will be held privately.
