Rita Spano, 90, passed away at Belmont Manor Nursing Center on Tuesday, May 5th. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Josephine (Anastasi) Spano. Rita worked for many years as a clerk at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA.
Rita was the dear sister of the late Eugene Spano and his wife Geraldine, and the loving aunt of Jeff Spano and his wife Penny, John Spano and his wife Pat, and the late Paul and Michael Spano. She is survived by her guardian Regina Bragdon, and many loving great nieces and great nephews.
Rita's funeral services will be private.
