Joan M. (Roselli) Devlin, age 77, a resident of Tewksbury for over 40 years, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020 at Academy Manor in Andover after a brief battle with COVID-19.
Joan was born on March 22, 1943 in Somerville, MA to the late Samuel and Connie Roselli.
She was a graduate of Medford High School and, in 1968, married the love of her life, William.
Joan enjoyed spending time with her dear life-long friends and siblings, day trips to her favorite places along the New England coast with William, gathering for many memorable holiday meals and visiting with her two granddaughters. To them she was Nana and known for her Italian cooking, fun jewelry and hysterical laugh they will miss hearing.
In addition to her devoted husband of 51 years, Joan leaves her son Sean and his wife Melissa of Ashland and granddaughters, Maeve and Fiona. She is also survived by her sisters Rosalie D’Angelo and husband Lou of Stoneham, Beverly Bucci and husband Jack of Medford, and her brothers Frank Roselli and wife Ann of Somerville, and Anthony Roselli and wife Patricia of Reading. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Joan’s family would like to thank the staff at DaVita North Andover Renal Center and Judy Anderson Salibe for providing care and friendship.
Due to current public health circumstances, a celebration of Joan’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations in Joan’s memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation (kidney.org).
