Paul M. Manning entered into rest peacefully with his family at his side at his home April 20, 2020. Paul was 75 years old. He worked at Putnam Investments. He was a former Franklin Auxiliary Police Officer. Paul was a member of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus in Pawtucket, R.I.
Paul was the son of the late John & Jennie Manning and the brother of the late Jackie Manning and the late Ann Manning.
Paul was the husband of Noreen Brennan Manning for 51 years. Paul leaves two children a daughter Kimberly Manning, a son John F. Manning and his wife Linda Manning. Paul also leaves two grandchildren Paul & Ben Manning. They all loved sitting on the porch playing cards and watching Cash Cab and the Patriots.
Paul leaves a brother-in-law William Lahar of Newberg, N.Y. and a late sister-in-law Eileen Lahar, a sister-in-law Dorothy Kusey of Goldwin, Michigan, a sister-in-law Mary Ellen Buckley and her son Michael Buckley of South Carolina.
Paul was proud of his Godson Brian Manning and his wife Brenda Manning of Uxbridge, MA. and a cousin Louise Peck of Rehoboth, MA.
He was very proud of his niece Amanda Hanson a Physician Assistant of Port Jarvis, N.Y. and his three nephews Chip, Kevin, and Chris Lahar who are Newberg, N.Y. police officers.
Paul & Noreen spent many years playing Santa & Mrs. Claus at Harvard Community Health Plan Children’s Christmas Party. They made all the children very happy. Paul enjoyed 4-wheelin’ and camping. He loved spending time with family & friends.
A special Thank you to Father David Thurber for his many visits & blessings which gave Paul great comfort. A special Thank you to all Pauls’ doctors, nurses & health care workers, family & dear friends who saw to his care for many years.
Paul was loved by everyone! He was a good listener and loved to reminisce about life. “Dad” will be missed by all.
May he rest in Peace. Amen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
