Jean Sony Soutien (55) of Brockton died May 4th in the St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton. He was the husband of Marie V. Pierre of Brockton.
He was born in Saint-Jean-du-Sud, Haiti. Jean was a self-employed painter by trade. He loved listening to music, going to the beach and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Weanshell Joseph of Brockton, 2 daughters, Sonika Soutien of Haiti and Malaika Janvier of New York, many brothers and sisters in Haiti.
Due to the COVID-19 State, National Mandate and for the Health and Safety of the Community, Services for Jean Soutien will be held privately at the family's convenience. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery.
