Faye Huggins, 81, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, May 4, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Private graveside services will be held.
Mrs. Huggins was born September 30, 1938, in Crisp County, Georgia, to the late Ottis Cleghorn & Bennie Nell Boles Cleghorn Revell. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1956 and lived in the community all of her life. Mrs. Huggins worked in the local Banking industry as a customer service representative for First State Bank, the National Bank, Bank South and Colony Bank, serving over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and working in her yard. Mrs. Huggins was a member of the Red Hat Society and a very active member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dwight Huggins of Fitzgerald; three children: Wayne Huggins & Darline King of Fitzgerald, Gina Sexton & Kenny of Fitzgerald and Kelly Huggins & Merri of Cleveland; nine grandchildren: Hannah Huggins, Holly DeMarino & Anthony, Jana Fowler & Chris, Ginny-Lynne Grundmann & Friedrich, Landon Sexton & Kelsey, Adam Huggins & Amanda, Chelsea Copeland, Meredith Huggins and Leah Huggins; eight great-grandchildren: Ella Grace Fowler, Ava Kate Fowler, Mia Faye Fowler, Reid Fowler, Bristol Sexton, Harley Huggins, Liam Copeland and Alaina Copeland; two brothers: Ottis Cleghorn & Joyce of Marietta and Roger Cleghorn & Maggie of Albany and two sisters: JoAnn Button of Marietta and Judy Nix & Joe of Albany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Russell Cleghorn, Sr.
