New Bedford – Gloria (Cruz) Corchado, age 97, of Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Gerardo Corchado.
Born in New Bedford, MA she was the beloved daughter of the late Francisco Cruz and Anna G. (Rosario) Cruz. Gloria had been a seamstress for a local clothing manufacturer for many years.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Paul Corchado of Assonet and Peter Corchado of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joe, Peter, Tonia and Mary Cruz.
Gloria’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.
