Salvatore Campisi of Winthrop passed away on April 28, 2020. He was 76 years old. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Keohane) Campisi. Born in Waltham, he was the cherished son of the late Joseph Campisi and Katherine (Mirabito) Scott.
Salvatore was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1962-1966. He was a carpenter by trade, but was an avid lobsterman and enjoyed, boating, singing and entertaining.
Salvatore was the devoted father of Kaitlyn Campisi of Winthrop, Valerie Cote and her husband Ray of HI, and the late Raymond Campisi of Los Angeles, CA. He was the adored grandfather of Maxx. Salvatore was the dear brother of Anthony Campisi of Squantum and Joseph Campisi of Taunton.
Due to the current CDC and Massachusetts Public Health guidelines, his funeral service will be private. A Memorial Mass will be held at future date and time to be announced at the St. Michael the Archangel Chapel at the Chelsea Soldiers Home in Chelsea, MA.
