Dell Clay (D. C.) Bohannon, 70, of Cordele passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his residence.
D. C. was born December 26, 1949 in Turner County to the late Charlie and Harriet Elizabeth Wilkerson Bohannon. He retired from the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base and was a member of the Baptist faith. He served his country with honor in the United States Army where he obtained the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and drag racing and tinkering with things around his house.
He is survived by his wife, Brinda Lee Bohannon of Cordele; step-daughter, Becky (Timmi) Morris of Cordele and stepsons, Cliff (Tracey) Clark of Talking Rock, Thomas Clark of Cordele and Ricky Stallings of Tifton; brother, Archie (Dale) Bohannon of Ashburn; grandchildren, J. J. Morris, Noah Morris, Kylee Clark, Karlee Clark and Kooper Clark.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
