FALL RIVER – Moises Pereira Camara, age 88, passed away at St. Anne’s Hospital on April 29, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Deolinda (Botelho) Camara. Born in Santo Antonio, Alem Capelas, St. Michael, Açores, he was the son of the late Antonio and Adelina (Pereira) Camara.
Moises is survived by his children Jose Camara of Fall River, Moises B. Camara of Fall River, Gabriel Camara of Acores, Lurdes Fernandes of Fall River, and Dee Camara of Fall River; sisters Margarita Tavares of Toronto, Canada and Antonita Pereira; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Jose, Gabriel and Antonio Camara and sister Julietta Pereira.
Due to the new restrictions implemented by Gov. Baker and the Diocese of Fall River in response to the Coronavirus outbreak, Moises’ funeral services will be private for the Immediate Family only.
