Obituary for Pierre Paul Marcelin
==================================================
Pierre Paul Marcelin, of Mattapan, passed away on Monday April 27, 2020 at the age of 80. Pierre Paul was born in Tabarre, Haiti to his parents (Cornelius Senatus, and Noizius Noel Marcelin). Pierre Paul had 3 sisters: Nazelie Noel, Ozane Noel Marcelin and Nortresa Noel Marcelin and brothers: Roger Myrthil, Leotes Myrthil and Jonathas Noel, Gracier Noel Marcelin, Saint-Louis Marcelin, Luis Noel Marcelin, Nelzius Noel Marcelin, Ceclane Noel Marcelin, Tales Noel Marcelin.
Pierre Paul was married to Solange Pierre and had one son: Jean Paul Marcelin. While Pierre Paul was living in Haiti, he was trained as a Mechanic until he migrated into Boston, MA in 1983. When he arrived in Boston, he worked as a mechanic for many of his friends and family until he was hired by the Neighborhood Health Plan. He worked for Neighborhood Health Plan for over 4 decades until he retired.
Pierre Paul loved his family very much and loved to travel. He worked hard to support all his family in Haiti. Pierre Paul was a giver. He would go to the super market and buy things to give to random people. He would always find something to share, whether from his car, or his fridge to give someone. Pierre Paul will wake up early Sunday morning to cook and pack his car with food to go see family members and friends. He would go out and come back late at night and be happy to share his bright smile telling people he went to see his family members in Cambridge and Dorchester. He would spend the day by going to Flea Market to buy things to distribute with friends and family. To many people, he was a saint because he would show up at random time just to help clean up their backyards, fix your car or whatever one may need. He was very caring and would always have lots of candy and cookies to share if not bread, sweet potato from the Supermarket.
Pierre Paul loved to cook. Sometimes he would cook so much food to share with everyone living in the house specially on weekends. He would always say, you need to eat. Sharing a meal with others gave him the most pleasure in life. Each time he cooks, he would call his nephews and nieces to ask them to come eat even when you're not hungry. He would prepare a big plate of food for anyone that comes see him.
He had a special connection with everyone. He had an indescribable connection with each one of his cousins, nieces and nephews and treated them like his own kids. To many he was like a father. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. His love to his family and friends was very special.
Pierre Paul was preceded in death by brother: Jonathas Noel, his ex-wife and son Jean Paul Marcelin. His nieces and nephews: Dickens Noel, Hansy Noel, Jonane Noel, Henry C. Noel, Pierre D. Noel, Alims Myrthil, Pierre Antoine Mrthil, Jean Exantus Noel, Morange Noel Marcelin, Lunick Myrthil, Evens Myrthil, Rogees Myrthil, Sonson Myrthil, Judner Myrthil, Roseland Myrthil, Yolie Myrthil, Yselie Myrthil, Sandra Myrthil, Djenie Noel, Ifonia Noel, Saint-Ellen Noel, Famme Noel, Edith Noel, Kesnel Noel, Darphnee Deneau, Yves Noel, Ashley Deneau, Ligardie Myrthil, Immacula Myrthil, Lelene Myrthil.
