Hazel Jeraldine Fowler Marchant, 77, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Marchant on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Brother Mike Hasty and Elder Robert Tucker will officiate.
Born August 19, 1942 in Bridgeboro, Mrs. Marchant was the daughter of the late Oris L. Fowler and Stella Pearl Brown Fowler. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She was a faithful homemaker for the last 56 years and she was a member of Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Marchant is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wright Marchant of Tifton; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Willis Jr. and Kathy Marchant, Ken and Dawn Marchant and Art Marchant, all of Tifton; three grandchildren, Ryan Marchant, Blake Marchant and Brady Marchant.
