Jose A. Gomes Montrond (45) of Brockton died April 23rd in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
He was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde, son of Eugenia Gomes Montrond. Jose worked in the construction industry. He loved football, the New England Patriots, video games, playing foosball and loved spending time with his family especially his children.
Jose is survived by 2 sons, Jayden Montrond and Giovanni Ribeiro both of Brockton, 4 daughters, Jayleen, Jizelle, Jazlyn and Juceila Montrond all of Brockton, 2 brothers, Eugenio and Miguel Montrond both of Brockton, his long time companion of 24 years Catarina Dos Santos of Brockton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the COVID-19 State, National Mandate and for the Health and Safety of the Community, Services for Jose Montrond will be held privately at the family's convenience. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery.
