Aubrey P. McDonald, 66, of Woonsocket died Sunday morning April 19, 2020 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Framingham, Massachusetts he lived his early years in Natick. The family then moved to Woonsocket where he resided for most of his life.
Affectionately known to all as Mac, he was employed in the machinist profession.
Mac was very adept at working with his hands and he could build anything he put his mind to. He was also somewhat of a computer whiz.
Mac had an especially soft spot for animals and counted his many cats among his closest companions.
Mac is survived by his son Jason R. McDonald and his wife Jodi of Woonsocket. He was the father of the late April May McDonald who passed away in 2018. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Jason and Lillian McDonald. He was the brother of Gordon McDonald of Woonsocket, A. Ronald Francoise of Natick MA, Cheryel Ricapito of North Port, FL and the late Sharon Griffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
In accordance with Mac’s wishes all services are private.
