Wanda Faye Tucker Smith, 71, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at her residence. A private graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Smith on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Glenn Ford and the Rev. Steve Tucker will officiate with a eulogy given by Randall Waldrop.
Mrs. Smith’s grandsons, Matthew “Matt” Allen Busbin, Cody Busbin, Cassidy Busbin, Austin Thomas Dinkins and David Morris and her nephew, David Stinson will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 12, 1949 in Tift County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Tommy Lee Tucker and Marie McAllister Tucker McBrayer. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Roy McBrayer. Before retiring, she was a hairdresser and she worked with Waldrop Construction Company and retired from there. She was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by one son, James Chad Morris and his fiance’, Tish Hullett of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Misty Dawn and Jason Winzenried of Moultrie and Elizabeth “Beth and Ronnie Busbin of Clarksville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew Allen and Sheena Allen Busbin of Texas, Bethany Marie Busbin, Cassidy Busbin, all of Clarksville, Tennessee, Cody and Jenna Busbin of Tacoma, Washington, Austin Thomas Dinkins, Autumn Rose Dinkins, David Morris and Emily Morris, all of Tifton and Shayla Winzenried of Texas; five great-grandchildren, Ava Busbin, Josslyn Busbin, Arizona Rose Busbin and Channing Busbin, all of Clarksville, Tennessee and Bentley Assmussen of Tifton; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and David Stinson of Douglasville and Lynette and William Pope of Okeechobee, Florida.
