AUBURN-Constance C. (Hebert) Maynard, 87, of 667 Washington Street, formerly of 25 Patch Reservoir Drive, Worcester died Sunday, February 12th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 58 years, Alton E. Maynard died in 2000. She leaves 2 sons, Paul A. Maynard of Sutton and Roger A. Maynard of Worcester, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Troncalli of Cumming, GA, Kristine Caouette of Winchendon, David Maynard of Leicester, Peter Maynard of Millbury and Mary Davis of Worcester and 9 great-grandchildren. Her brother Fr. Raymond Hebert predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Napolean J. and Clara (Bean) Hebert. Mrs. Maynard graduated from L’assumption School in Millbury and Millbury High School in 1937. She had been employed from 1940 until 1995 by the Paris Curtain Shop, and also had worked at W. T. Grant from 1960 until 1965, and the former Zayre Department Store from 1965 until 1985. Mrs. Maynard was an accomplished seamstress and avid baseball fan.
The funeral is Wednesday, February 15th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, February 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
