David J. Skinner, age 76, passed away on April 13, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center after suffering a stroke. He was born to the late Elmer W. And Lillian (Doane) Skinner on July 10, 1943 in Gloucester, MA. David was a communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish and a former daily communicant of St George Parish, Chicopee. He worked as a laborer for Westover Air Reserve Base for over forty years before his retirement. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Skinner of Gloucester, several cousins and many friends including his care givers, Peggy Bradford and Dianne Bousquet of Springfield and Janet Crews and Ellie Norberg in Gloucester. He is predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Elmer Skinner. All services will be private. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Burial will take place in Seaside Cemetery, Gloucester, MA. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
