Betty Cathryn (Wilson) Toombs, of Anderson, died April 13, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born November 19, 1925 in Hancock County the daughter of William and Vivian (Jordan) Wilson.
She was office manager at Met Life Insurance for 30 years. She was a member of Wesley Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children, David (Sandy Nelson) Toombs of Florida; Nancy (Robert) Weinert of McCordsville; Daniel Toombs of Fishers; sister, Janet Shaw of The Villages, Florida; five grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Jackson; Kelli (Loren) Broadwater, Cheyenne Toombs, Griffin Toombs, Bailey Toombs; two great grandchildren, Kara Broadwater & Jackson Broadwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Toombs and her grandson, Adam Toombs.
Private graveside services will be held at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
