Delia Regina (Feccia) DiTullio passed away on Easter Monday, April 13, 2020 from covid related complications at the Armenian Nursing Home in Jamaica Plain.
Regina was born in Filetto Chieti, Italy on October 08, 1928. She was the oldest daughter of Ruggiero and Angelina Feccia.
Her younger sister, Lina and husband Tomaso Gioioso, both now deceased raised 5 children in Braintree.
Her older brother Francesco was killed during WW II while fleeing from the Germans.
During wartime as the Germans marched through the mountains of Italy, her family and fellow townspeople lived underground for months to avoid capture.
Regina married Angelino DiTullio in Filetto on May 06, 1952. They emigrated to Boston in 1956.
She is survived by her 3 children Giacomo, Donetta and Francesco, six grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
She was a selfless, sacrificing and loving woman who always put her children first.
Regina worked mainly as a seamstress in Quincy where they raised their children. She was a loving mother that
instilled in her children all the necessary qualities that made them all successful and respectful citizens.
Regina’s talent and love for cooking and baking was legendary and she relished the joy of feeding pizza to her children’s friends.
She could bake hundreds of different types of pastries, each one of them uniquely displayed her incredible culinary talents.
During the season of Lent the “Pasta’di almonda” was always so popular that she would bake hundreds to give away to friends and family.
The hours cooking for her was always a labor of love.
Her December 23rd Christmas parties for close friends and relatives was an annual event that was always a highlight of the holiday season.
Her radiant smile while baking always filled the house with cheer and good tidings. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Due to the current health concerns, interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private. A Funeral Mass and celebration of Delia's life will take place at a later date.
