James P. “Jim” O'Connell, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, April 12th. He was 73. Born and raised in Manchester, NH. He was the son of the late Francis and Noella (Gosselin) O’Connell.
Jim enlisted in the United States Army in the fall of 1966, from Manchester, NH, serving during the Vietnam War. After his enlistment he attended Bentley College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
Jim enjoyed taking day trips with his loving wife Enza to New Hampshire and Vermont. He loved spending time with his extended family. A proud member of the American Legion Post 45. Jim dedicated ever Sunday to prepare and cook breakfast for the members.
James was the beloved husband of Enza Rapatano-O’Connell. He was the cherished son of the late Francis and Noella (Gosselin) O’Connell. He was the caring second cousin of Patty, Kathy, Colleen, Brian and Dorothy, and the loving brother-in-law of Paul and Tina Rapatano.
