Stephanie C. (Zuchowski) Chaisson, age 86, passed away on April 12, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Northampton on Dec. 26, 1933, a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Mary (Daskiewicz) Zuchowski. She attended Nothampton Commercial College. Stephanie worked for over 34 years as a secretary for numerous places including the Springfield Armory, Westover Air Force Base, Springfield Bulk Mail Center and main Street Post Offices before she retired in 1992. She was also employed at Stop and Shop in the Springfield Plaza for 18 years. Stephanie was a communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Church in Springfield. She was an avid Bingo Player and Red Sox fan. She belonged to AARP. She leaves 2 sons, John Chaisson and his wife Kathy of Westfield and James Chaisson and his wife Maryann of Somers, CT; 3 grandchildren Heather and her husband Mike Smola of Ludlow, James Chaisson and Zachary Chaisson of Somers, CT. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her 2 brothers and 4 sisters. All current services will be private for immediate family. There will be a public celebration of life at a later date. The Grise` Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
