Concetta A. (Stampone ) Meyer of Medford passed away on Saturday, April 11 at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center of Medford. Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Fiorentino and Alberina (DiLoreto) Stampone. Concetta was a graduate of Everett High School (Class of 1946) and settled in Medford in 1952. She worked for many years at Addison-Wesley Publishing Company, retiring in 1993. Concetta was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Medford Post 1012, and graciously volunteered her time at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Concetta was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Meyer, and the devoted mother of Maureen Rivieccio (Medford High School Class of 1974) and Charles R. Meyer (Medford High School Class of 1978). She was the adoring grandmother of Jessica L. Rivieccio (Medford High School Class of 1996) and the adoring great grandmother of Giana Rivieccio. Concetta was the loving mother-in-law of Joseph Rivieccio and a long-time, dear friend of Louise Boever.
