David J. Lyons Sr., age 86, of Cambridge, MA and formerly of Somerville, MA passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at the Cambridge Rehabilitation Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Delina (Somers) and John J. Lyons.
Mr. Lyons had attended the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. His first job was working in the school cafeteria. Later in life he worked at Doble Engineering in Watertown, MA and BLH Electronics in Norwood, MA. He is survived by his beloved children, Delina Holl of California, David Lyons and wife Tracey of Massachusetts, Cheri Lavender and husband Shayn of Ohio and five grandchildren. The youngest of three he is also survived by his older brother Moe Lyons and wife Phyllis, Sister-in-law Gerry Lyons and preceded in death by his parents and eldest brother John Lyons.
