Kathleen M. (Cataldo) Lamattina, of Peabody, died Saturday at the Prescott House Nursing Home. She was 80.
Mrs. Lamattina was born in Everett, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary (Narciso) Cataldo. She was a dedicated wife and mother and enjoyed the company of family and friends.
She was the wife of the late Salvatore G. Lamattina. She was a devoted mother to Lois Leonard and her husband Thomas of Andover, Richard Lamattina and his wife Nancy of Derry, NH. She was a loving grandmother to Russell, Jeffrey, Jonathan Leonard, Suzanne Vasquez, Michael, David, Lindsay Lamattina, and Julianne Post. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Olympia Sampson, Rosemarie Sola, both of Saugus, Ernest of Malden, Frank of Wilmington, the late Salvatore and George Cataldo.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, Wednesday at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
