Bernetha M. (Clark) Chambless, 87, of Anderson died April 9, 2020 in the Legacy building at Bethany Pointe Health Campus.
She was born April 18, 1932 in Middletown, IN, the daughter of Herman and Letha (Hutchison) Clark. She graduated from Anderson High School in1950 and was a mortgage originator for O.C. Clark. She also worked at First Savings and Loan. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Kenneth and singing. She had a beautiful voice.
She is survived by her son, Scott Chambless of Kokomo; grandson, Craig Chambless of Greenfield; sister, Marguerite Jennings of Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Chambless and her son, Steven.
Private funeral services will be held at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with burial to follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Kidney Foundation or American Cancer Society.
