Mohegan Lake – Katharine Pacensa, of Mohegan Lake, formerly of Valhalla, NY passed away April 6, 2020 after a courageous battle with coronavirus.
Katharine was born in White Plains, NY July 20, 1931 to the late Nina Primerano (nee Fallanca), and Joseph Primerano. Her husband, Carl Pacensa passed away on September 27, 2003. Pre-deceased by sister Nancy Strickland (nee Primerano) .
Survived by children, Stephanie Stebbins and husband Randy; Dennis Pacensa and wife Judy, Carl Pacensa Jr. and wife, Rosemary, and Steve Pacensa; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survivedby her sister Frances (Chic) Bowder and husband, Howard as well as brother, Joseph Primerano and wife Arlene.
She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother devoted to her family and loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed
