Bonnie C. (Gray) Wellman, 78 of Medway died peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Braintree. She was the beloved wife of Donald A. Wellman who died in 1995.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lyra (Thweatt) Gray.
Bonnie resided between Medway and Quincy for the past 20 years.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mississippi and her Master’s Degree from the former Boston State College and worked in the mental healthcare industry for many years.
Bonnie had a lifelong love of learning, especially in the arts, as both a student and teacher. She was very creative and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, making jewelry as well as many other artistic hobbies.
She is survived by her son Sean Wellman and his wife Roberta of Medway and her daughter Jennifer Foley and her husband Michael of Braintree.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Brian, Peter and Christopher Wellman and Patrick and Bridget Foley.
Private graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
