Raymond R Michaud, 83, passed away peacefully, at Beverly Hospital, Monday, March 30, 2020 after a short illness. He was the loving husband of the late Joan E. (Fitzpatrick) Michaud with whom he shared 46 Years of marriage
Born in Salem he was the son of the late Raymond and Marguerite (Bourgeois) Michaud. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School and attended Northeastern University. Ray served stateside as a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam years. He worked for Sylvania in Salem at the Boston St. plant, Gloucester Engineering, Raytheon Corporation and Axcelis Corporation of Danvers. Ray was an avid fan of car racing and would watch any sport at any time, as he loved them all.
Ray is survived by his daughter Maureen and her husband Thomas of Manchester CT, his son Paul and his wife Lisa of Exeter NH, his step-daughters Linda Bochicchio and her fiancé Norman Hamel of Peabody, and Donna Haynes and her husband James of Georgetown, his step son Richard Bochicchio also of Georgetown. He is also survived by his brother Arthur and his wife Mary Michaud of Melbourne Florida, his granddaughters Shannon Dubay of Cape Town South Africa, Leanne Haynes of Georgetown, and Emily Michaud of Exeter, NH, and his grandsons, Bryan Dubay of Bloomfield, CT and Richard Bochicchio of Salem, as well as several nieces and nephews. He will be missed deeply by his loving family.
A celebration of Life will be held this summer in Salem Mass.
