Gerard M. “Jerry” Bennett, 74, of Derry, NH, passed away Sunday April 5, 2020 in the Beaver Lake Lodge in Derry. He was born in Boston, MA on January 16, 1946, a son of the late William and Helen (Alward) Bennett. He had been a resident of Derry for the past several years and had been employed as an aviation inspector for General Electric. Jerry was an avid golfer, collector of sports memorabilia, classic car enthusiast, and loved traveling among other activities. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a proud Dad and “Papa” of his children, grandchildren, Daughter in-laws, and Son in-law. He will be remembered for his infectious personality and his belly laugh that would fill the room.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Mattuchio; two sons, David Bennett, and Richard Bennett; the mother of his children, Joyce Bennett, eight grandchildren; and one brother, Alan Bennett. He was predeceased by his brother, William Bennett.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
