Alice G. (Parsloe) MacFarlane, 86, of Weymouth Massachusetts entered eternal life on April 4, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Harry Parsloe and Alice (MacDonald) Parsloe.
She spent many years in Dorchester, where she met and married Keith L. MacFarlane. Together they raised their family there before moving to Weymouth.
Alice worked many years for Peterson Linen in Braintree before retiring. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox, playing bingo, and puzzle making. But most of all she enjoyed time spent with family. She loved getting together with her sisters, and brothers in law. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the center of her world. Sundays and holidays were always spent at her house, and she hated seeing people leave, whether you had been there an hour or all day.
She was the beloved wife of the late Keith L. MacFarlane for 50 years and the sister of the late John Matson, Dorothy Stuart, Nancy Doherty, and Phyllis Murphy. She is survived by a brother Robert Parsloe. She was the devoted and loving mother of the late Keith L. MacFarlane Jr., and her daughter Doris L. (James) Cranshaw of Whitman. Proud and loving grandmother of James (Lindsay) Cranshaw of Whitman, Brian (Andrea) Cranshaw of Hanson, Jacquelyn (Brian) Hildreth of New Hampshire, and Rory MacFarlane of New Hampshire. Great Grandmother of Cailey, Leah, Jack, Lexie, and Tyler Cranshaw, Stephen Gnibus, Olivia Hildreth, and Connor MacFarlane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
